Last month I wrote about the SEO project at John Deere featured in the latest issue of Industry Week Magazine. The project itself involved a complete e-overhaul of John Deere’s MachineFinder.com website including an integrated section of the site that allows John Deere dealers to sell used equipment through eBay.
Today I came across KoMarketing Associates in Waltham, MA (down the street from my old office in Lexington, MA) and the John Deere MachineFinder.com case study. The project included several SEO tactics such as content development, foreign language development, page tagging, limited URL restructuring and link building as well as a reorganized and implemented Paid Search strategy.
The case study lays out the problem with the existing website originally developed in 1995, extensive steps taken to remedy the various issues and reports on the ongoing results so it is definitely worth the read. MachineFinder.com is pretty cool too, especially if you are in the market for a used Timberjack 1470.
